Nominations to the Lakewood Alumni Foundation Halls of Fame
The Lakewood Alumni Foundation maintains three distinct Halls of Fame honoring Distinguished Alumni, Athletes & Coaches, and Lakewood City Schools Staff members. The Lakewood Alumni Foundation Board of Trustees appoints a Hall of Fame Steering Committee comprised of Foundation Trustees and including members of the Halls of Fame. A subcommittee is formed for each Hall of Fame, chaired by a LAF Trustee and comprised of both alumni and current/former staff members. Each subcommittee may advance the names of 5-7 finalists. The Steering Committee will make the final selection and as many as nine individuals will be inducted in a ceremony to be held in the fall.
Nominations must be received by the Lakewood Alumni Foundation by March 1st for consideration for induction in that calendar year. Nominations will be held in perpetuity and additional supporting documents may be added at any time.
